I have been working for Monroe County Department of Environmental Services as a GIS and Senior GIS Technician. Duties including but not limited to the Database Management and mapping requests of our Engineering staff and assisting in our field crews. Including a high proficiency in O.S.P.(Onsite Plant Management Fiber mapping software) And currently converting to ARC/FM Fiber Mapping software.
ESRI / ARC GIS software - Experience in manipulation and relationships of Shape Files, Geodatabase Feature Data Sets, Rastor Data Sets, As-built drawings, etc…
Experience in field asset mapping using Trimble GPS units, including handheld and pole mounted survey grade (RTK) equipment.

Creation and updating of Monroe County’s Base Parcel map layers using ESRI / ARC GIS software. Assigning of new SBL / Parcel ID numbering and property inventory records. Ability to read Subdivision maps, Deed descriptions of parcels, Site plans, Instrument Survey maps, Highway Appropriation Maps, etc.
Duties also included but were not limited to property title research, filing of recorded maps with County Clerk, ordering of supplies using SAP system.
