● GPA: 3.5+, SoR Course, Child Development, Literacy Intervention PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT
Originally pursuing a career in physical therapy, I discovered that my true passion lies in working with children and supporting their growth as learners. I am preparing to become a K–6 educator and have experience supporting UFLI based literacy interventions, where I help facilitate hands on, multisensory learning experiences that encourage student confidence and engagement. Energetic and creative, I enjoy building meaningful connections with students and am relocating to the Arklatex area as I continue my journey into the teaching profession.
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe that before children can learn, their basic needs must be met. Students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and valued in the classroom. By creating a consistent, nurturing environment built on trust and respect, I can help students feel secure enough to take risks, engage in learning, and grow academically and socially.
