Position Transportation Services Supervisor
In this role, I utilized the Trapeze Software System to process payroll for five hundred bus operators, pursuant to their union contract. Daily bus route and overtime assignments for operators was completed as well. When warranted, warnings, tickets or termination of employment for these drivers were done. On occasion, I was dispatched to the scene of an accident involving a bus. Evidence collection and investigations were completed. At that time, I had a cdl license enabling me to drive a 40’ bus with passengers, if necessary.
Position: Purchasing Coordinator October 2000 – June 2005
As an assistant to the Director of Supply Management, as well as Procurement staff, I gained knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures. This role entailed clerical duties, including scheduling meetings, maintaining a comprehensive filing system, typing of various documents, extensive customer/vendor service and release of solicitations for purchase of goods and services. Other responsibilities were bid tabulations and contract administration to ensure Contractor compliance. I maintained and submitted required information to the Federal Transit Administration regarding compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program. I established a Vendor Registration Program and maintained the purchasing page of the COTA website. I was responsible for disposal of surplus equipment/inventory via auction, whether live or online auction. I assisted in the development and maintenance of the Records Retention Program for the Authority.
Harrop Industries, Inc. (Columbus, Ohio) August 1999 – August 2000
Position: Accounting Clerk
Numerous accounts payable duties including daily allocation and posting of payables, a weekly check run, filing and constant customer contact. Accounts receivable duties included invoicing, posting invoices and cash receipts, filing and a monthly billing analysis for each contract/customer. I was responsible for all collection proceedings for past due customers.
Position: Clerical October 1998 – August 1999
This was a secretarial position that entailed many various duties. Among them were typing, filing, answering phones and copying blueprints on a duplexer.

Position: Administrative Assistant
This position involved direct contact with the terminal manager, corporate office, customers and coworkers. I performed many duties such as typing, filing, research and invoicing. Aside from accounts receivable duties, I was also responsible for accounts payable and payroll of both Columbus locations.
