Talk Sis Baltimore, MD March 2020 – Present

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

I created Talk Sis to provide a safe space for women to discuss and explore their mental health and wellness. This program aims to facilitate open and honest conversations, fostering a supportive community where women can share their challenges, seek guidance, and offer mutual encouragement. While the program does not replace professional therapy or medical advice, it serves as a platform for connection, empathy, and personal growth. Some of my activities include:

Facilitating the use of an online social media platform to reach a wide audience where participants can connect, engage, and share their experiences in a user-friendly fashion.

Providing a range of structured discussion topics related to mental health and well-being. These topics include but are not limited to anxiety, stress, loneliness, self-care, work-life balance, parenting challenges, isolation and other COVID-19 pandemic related impacts and more.

Ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment that encourages participation, offers support, and share relevant resources, educational materials, and mental health tips to enhance the discussions and provide additional support.
