I am proficient in records management and regularly provide technical guidance and instructions to research staff. I provided recommendations on processes to improvement efficiency of work, (e.g., methods, procedures, and practices to be implemented, modified, changed, or adopted), which also included the improved procedures and techniques for retrieving particular types of information.
In my scope as a detailed supervisor for the AIRR research department, I handled the oversight of research requests including FOIA, education, litigation and general inquiries and ensured information was searched for and compiled per AIRR and other policies and procedures and standards. On a regular basis, I also reviewed and updated the Occupant Emergency Plan (OEP) at the AIRR. This includes addressing possible emergency situations and what steps management and staff should take to prevent injuries, loss of life, and what actions to take in the event of various emergency scenarios. I conducted annual safety training for all staff and new hires as they are on-boarded.
