Food Safety enforcer with an excellent numerical, analytical, critical- thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills, I have been opportune to work as a senior quality control analyst in different FMCG organizations. Responsibilities:

Approval of incoming materials by confirming specifications and giving necessary approval before items are received.

Keeping measuring equipment operational by ensuring validation and external checks are done as at the time due.

Ensuring proper documentation e.g., lab reports, instrument, reagents, SOPs, non-conformities, market returns etc. are documented and treated professionally to avoid repetition.

Knowledge and skill of handling regulatory bodies and external bodies as well as auditors.

Conducting induction in any new employee either staff or casual on food safety and other plant rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Performing physio-chemical analysis on margarine and spread products and additive materials used in production.

Conducting taste on incoming raw materials such as crude palm oil, crude olein, RBDPO and also in process samples and by product such as Stearin, PMF and PFAD.

Facilitating sensory evaluation and organoleptic testing for flavours and margarine products.

Preparation of regents, labeling and ensuring GLP is always practiced

Performing general quality inspection on raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse and other storage rooms to ensure products are kept at specified storage conditions.

Analysing and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements.

Monitoring, and proposing measures to prevent errors, correct or improve organizations final products to meet established quality standards.

Conducting competitors samples analysis quarterly to check for areas of improvement.

Performing in process checks on each production line, ensuring coding are properly done, and retaining samples of each final product (for easy traceability when need arises).
