As an Administrative Support Assistant, I perform various administrative tasks such as clerical, personnel, procurement, budget and office automation work. Assisting with creating Admin SOP by proofing, amending and/or adding information. Helped to coordinate annual Admins E.S.C.A.P.E conference this year. Took the initiative to purchase awards and helped to organize set up of games and work areas. Initiates Requests for Personnel Action (RPA) via AutoNOA or DCPDS throughout the District for designated personnel such as recruit/fill, career ladder promotion and reassignments/realignments; ensures necessary routing and approvals are complete. Serves as POC for a number of matters pertaining to status of report and/or funding. View and at times finalize non-technical memos for Chiefs. As Branch GPC Card holder I make purchases for various supplies to include publications, materials, furniture and supplies. Prepares PR&Cs for purchase of various types of equipment, professional credentials, and educational reimbursements. As well as coordinates with directorate management to create PR&C's for personnel awards. Serves as central point for time and attendance policies, procedures and requirement and is alternate timekeeper for Branches/Sections in District Offices when their Admin is not available. Responsible for two sections in the branch timekeeping functions through computerized system (CEFMS II) such as monitoring overtime,credit and travel comp time. Always ensuring proper documentation is submitted for all requests; Adjust employee work and leave schedules accordingly. Recently assisted another Branch with inventory and bar tagging newly purchased computers and monitors. Assisted with DLL listings during reorganization. Assisted another admin with Supervisor Training Program (STP) set up. Serves as primary Records Coordinator. Maintain office files according to the Army Records Information Management System
(ARIMS). Prepared documents according to regulations for processing of decade old records/slides to be destroyed and/or stored. Assists in the Accounts for and maintain over $2,500,000.00 worth of equipment. Create orders for training and temporary duty travel (TDY), create transportation PR&C's and ensure all funding is within budget. Create permissions in ARMs module to gain access to various systems.
