ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DECK FOREMAN:

Lead and supervise deck crew (ABs, OS, Riggers, Crane Operators during deck lifts, etc.). Assign daily tasks based on the work plan or instructions from the Barge Master. Monitor crew performance to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures and policies.

Oversee all deck activities including cargo handling, lifting operations, bulk operations, deck management and general maintenance of the marine equipment’s.

Follow the safety procedures and to conduct TOOL BOX TALK prior to commence with any operations regardless the same operations are performed on daily basis.
