Professional Summary

I’ve done everything from working in day hab facilities to working in group homes with 4 to 6 clients at a time or some with 4 clients. Personal group homes with couples. Also just a 1 client group home with constant supervision. I’ve done high functioning to low functioning group homes. Cooking tube feeding bathing grooming petty cash med passing. Dealing with grand mal seizures to petite mal seizures. Dealing with behaviors and handling them accordingly. I’ve done first aid and cpr when needed I even have handled Epi-pens. I have driven company vehicles and busses before I know how to hand wheelchairs and lifts buckling down and everything. I also am a mom of two boys one with adhd and autism. I worked for PDS which closed down and they sold to CLW which only choose a handful of people who worked excellent and never missed any days I was one of those top people to move to the new company CLW. I worked with individuals one on one in group homes and in the workshop helping them pack Qtips in the day Hab low functioning and high functioning. I changed people and passed medications. I worked with all of the individuals and also prepared lunches and also helped with bussing as well as seating them and buckling down their wheel chairs. Also so much more. I do have a letter from PDS transitioning to CLW. should you need to see. I left because I got pregnant and could not work with the violent clients. So I was offered my job back after I had baby. However I never returned. I moved out of the area then was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder.

This was something that was apart of the position. As it was imperative that the client be monitored every 15 mins due to the severity of the his personal serious situations with the state. I would do long shifts sometimes a 10 hour shift or 12 hour shift depending on if other staff called off. This client could never be left alone as this was a one on one specific group home.
