Retail Merchandiser was my position for six different locations. Three USPS locations, three CVS Stores, and I would also cover for three additional CVS locations as needed. The job included maintaining the cards and packing supplies as well as set up for seasonal merchandise. Also, I would inventory as needed and was provided a business phone to input my work and mileage for my manager upon completion of each job. The hours were flexible and I really enjoyed the job!

As a bookkeeper I performed many tasks that included maintaining the books, ordering and receiving, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, sales, bank reconciliations and more. At times I also helped with customer service, cashiering and stocking. We sold a similar business in California and were able to open this one in Pahoa. The business operated with great success for the time it was open, but sadly the lava took all of the homes nearby, which affected our customers and we were forced to close the store. The gap in my job history was to relocate to Hawaii and open another business. It was a wonderful job and great success story!

As an owner and operated I did everything necessary to manage all business procedures. A list of things but not limited to managing the phone, maintaining the books, ordering and receiving, maintaining the plants, customer service and much more. The nursery was small at first, then began to grow in time. I was sad to close, but we chose to relocate to Hawaii. The business was a great success, and I enjoyed it very much.
