Research Experiences:
Manhattan Brain Bank: 2000-2002
Involved in data collection and entry for blood, CSF and tissue sample; geared towards a better understanding of HIV neuropathy. A five-year funded program involved with two other hospitals in the Continuum Health Partners Inc. dealing with Organ Donation, Autopsy and Organ retrieval and data collection for long term research for HIV neuropathy.
Bayer Study: June 2003-December 2003
Collecting blood sample and data collection for a new Bayer machine for the use
of alternative HIV testing.
International Mission-July 2004
Missionary work in underserved population and countries that deals with HIV prevention, and promoting better health in teaching of Diabetes, HTN, Malaria and other communicable diseases.
Positive prevention Study July 2004 to 2006
Study recruitment for clinic patients, dealing with HIV transmission risk and HIV prevention. A newly developed computerized program used for initial visit that lasted for a12 month period. This program helped patients understand how to prevent the risk of re-infection, transmission and control of their active substance use.

Coordinating exam and laboratory studies for many new and not yet approved pharmaceutical therapy on patients that are HIV positive. Coordinated meeting from many monitors of pharmaceutical companies to better serve patients that are on phase four of their HIV regimen.
