EXPERIENCE

March 2019 –Present – ANALYST, THE DATA ENTRY COMPANY, Oakland, MD - As Senior Analyst, I function as the data subject matter expert who uses a variety of data sources to blend and join data for efficient delivery in support of the mission and goals of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). A typical day for me involves the collection, analysis, interpretation and evaluation of data regarding retirement and spousal benefits, workman’s compensation, and processes for beneficiaries. I also serve as quality control specialist in reviewing the work of staff members to ensure accuracy of processing and to make corrections as necessary to ensure a quality product. 40+ hours per week. Supervisor: Benita Samuel, 202-***-**** x4585; Salary $40,000 p/a. Reason for leaving: Temporary position; contract expiring soon.

April 2005 – March 2019 – QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST, ZIMMERMAN ASSOCIATES, KINGSTOWN, VA – As Quality Control Analyst, I was responsible for analyzing and interpreting a variety of documents to either confirm compliance with PBGC established policies and procedures or identify deviations. This process focused on workman’s compensation claims, various kinds of personnel actions, and pension benefits. Responsibilities also include income verification, classification accuracy determination, and generating deficiency correspondence when submissions do not comply with PBGC requirements. I was also responsible for conducting numerous off-site data collections in other states and implementing various protocols to ensure that the data is secure. 40+ hours per week.

March 2003 – April 2005 – COMPUTER PROCESSOR, SYSTEMS INTEGRATION GROUP, KINGSTON, VIRGINIA – In this position, I was responsible for providing technical advice and assistance to Task Leaders regarding the various policies, procedures, applications and understanding of pension plans, terminology and provisions. My responsibilities also included transcribing, deciphering and coding a variety of complex alpha numeric data’ instructing new Operators on proper policies and procedures for data entry and verification; directing and coordinating activities with other Data Processing Departments; consulting with users to determine needs; establishing work standards; and assigning and scheduling work for other operators.

August 2002 – April 2003 – BANK TELLER, LOOMIS & FARGO CORP, SPRINGFIELD, VIRGINIA - My responsibilities included recording transactions and preparing daily settlements of teller cash and proofs transactions according to procedures. I was responsible for creating various types of audit, inventory and a variety of other monthly reports, and for ensuring that money was counted and documented in according with company policies.

May 1999 – August 2002 QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR, FIRST DATA RESOURCES, INC., CHESAPEAKE, VIRGINIA – In this position, I was responsible for embedding awareness of quality in the organization’s processes and for introducing and implementing new quality practices and methodologies. I was responsible for creating, managing and executing test cases to ensure compliance with best practices, developmental processes and quality of service. I was also responsible for inspecting different department processing procedures for various types of credit cards, and to ensure that credit cards were correct and met the expectations of company and customer standards.

May 1995 – July 1998 – INSPECTOR/ANALYST, IBM CORPORATION, ROCHESTER, MN - I served as Inspector/Analyst and I was responsible for embedding awareness of quality in the organization’s processes by introducing new quality practices and methodologies. I was responsible for creating, managing and executing test cases to ensure compliance with best practices, development processes and quality of service. My responsibilities also included data entry of all reports for the processing of the manufactured computer discs.
