As directed by the DO, help facilitate the work of all EGC staff, associates, and affiliates. In connection with the Bookkeeper, assist with basic administrative duties for the center. E.g., making trips to post office, or to area merchants for sundry items necessary for the office.
Answer telephone calls and monitor building access, greet visitors, guests, and callers at EGC, and be prepared to direct all inquiries accordingly. Record messages and monitor company voicemail regularly.
Assist with project management and special events
On an as-needed basis, be available to lead and direct staff members with specific project-related work or “one-off” special events. E.g., arrange furniture or equipment setup (such as laptop computers, or audio-visual equipment).
Monitor and maintain office supplies
Order office supplies, stationery, and other products as needed for the center. Maintain supply and storage spaces, while replenishing supplies at appropriate locations throughout the center.
EGC Staff Calendar at The Meeting House (TMH)
On a weekly basis, develop and maintain to help identify which staff are occupying and working at TMH. Per Executive Director (ED), ensure that this information is shared accordingly.
Building and facility administration
In connection with the DO, the Office Manager will participate and help lead building-specific discussions with Second Church representatives as pertaining to EGC’s joint occupancy and utilization of The Meeting House (TMH). The purpose is to ensure EGC’s needs are being met address any building-related concerns with Second Church, EGC’s relationship with Second Church continues to develop in a mutually beneficial and productive way. Support all staff, and finance as needed to help ensuring that office operations run as smoothly as possible.
