Objective: To establish myself with a stable company at a full time position with benefits. I have been working for Midstates Concrete since June 9, 2025, full time, however, with the winter months production is way down and they have now laid off my whole department. Unemployment is not going to pay my bills and support my family. I am looking for full time, with benefits, and am willing to learn anything. I am 40 yrs old and the father of 2. Administrative duties – copy machine, fax, computer - type brochures and flyers, install for sale signs, lock boxes and brochure boxes; remove lockboxes after sales complete; monitor home inspections. No benefits or longterm opportunities available.

Illinois Licensed Leasing Agent: I am considered an Independent Contractor working for this company. My job is to answer calls and emails, schedule appointments, and show available properties for rent to prospective tenants. I perform inspections on vacant properties and report improvements and repairs needed before renting again; I collect income qualifications, applications, and fees to present to my office for approval. Upon approval, I type the leases, collect rent and supply keys to new tenants. Due to the real estate sales increase, rental inventory dropped dramatically, leaving the company with less work for their agents.

2013-2021 – Chemtool/Lubrizol Corporation – S Beloit, IL Senior Chemical Operator/Shift Lead Technician: My job was to oversee the production process of my department on my shift. My primary responsibility was to monitor the equipment under my charge, control instruments and make sure they were working properly ; I also scheduled and coordinated maintenance efforts when necessary, including the shutting down or otherwise handling equipment during an emergency. When I first hired on with the company, I was a grease technician, working 30 ft in the air and mixing product. After the first year, I was moved to the lead technician.
I was also responsible for administrative tasks as well, such as recording test results and other data and relaying those to my supervisors.
This business is no longer in operation due to burning down in an accidental fire.
