INDUSTRIAL & FACTORY PRODUCTION SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE
GFM: while working at GFM I performed fabrication and assembling of industrial and factory machines. Also, while there I installed milling machines, parts for turbines, longitudinal slides, and shaving equipment with thick wall low carbon steel 2” hydraulic pipe lines, socket welds and butt weld joints with backup rings.
T.H. WELDING: was directed by T.H. Welding to finish some structural additions to YUPO buildings and machine base foundations for hydraulic and liquefied chemicals pertaining to paper. Function equipment and welding on pipe components for the function of it.
All First: Was sent by All First to SPSA power steam plant in Portsmouth to repair burning boiler floors, roofs, and skirts. Also x-ray heavy wall 3” low carbon steam tubes (“pipe”) at wheelabrator section.
Was sent by All First to install HVAC funnels for draining systems at HILTI Factory. Also installed ac and heating systems above production line tables at VA Beach plant.
Also was sent to DTA Coal Plant in Newport News, VA on coal bunker repairs which included repairing hoppers, shakers, and heavy screen boxes for train wagons to dump often. 1 “stainless steel hydraulic pipe lines for cylinders to close and open. (Tig welding).
B&F: While performing for B&F as a working project manager repaired and rebuilt sections of sand conveyer with roller bases and electrical motors. Installation and alignment of conveyers to a hopper into shaker boxes to separate rocks, trash, and sand. Replacement of 6” and 8” vertical, 30- and 40-foot pipe sections with flanges and gaskets at sand plant.
Also fabricated the cooling side walls for a shingle production machine made with 2” channel by 3/8 thick laying on ” plate 8’X10’ with cooling chemical passages built with it.
