As a County Land Maintenance Technician, I am responsible for maintaining and managing multiple county-owned properties. My role involves performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks similar to those required in multifamily property management. These include general carpentry, painting (interior and exterior), plumbing, and electrical work, as well as landscaping and custodial duties. I operate heavy machinery and power tools to complete land and facility projects such as tree removal, land clearing, and soil preparation. I routinely troubleshoot and repair lighting, irrigation systems, and restroom fixtures to ensure proper functionality across all areas of the property. Additionally, I perform preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure while reducing long-term repair costs.
