Started in grinding and finishing department. Where parts are finished and inspected for shipping to customers. After aquiring and passing forklift test. Certified as Forklift operator by shift superior by test written and driving. Was transfered to Melt and Mold Department and given a 1 dollar an hour raise. Where i drove a tote boat forklift (A very large forklift). This forklift also tilted side to side able to pour hot iron/steel. Filling up 2000 lbs. from furnace to tote boat forklift delivered to ladels
(2) onto a deck/line where ladels filled many different style molds. To make several different parts to be used for railway parts for railway tracks. Also learned Core setting which were mold inserts for mold shaped parts. Later learned to pour iron from ladels on deck to molds on assembly line. Also learned pour 10 ton ladels into huge molds that were many different style train rails used by railroads; and high speed trains. Was a very hard and hot job where saftey was a must. Drove regular forklift aswell. To get and remove things needed by production line. Swept and shoveled any debre or dirt in area to keep it clean and safe. Was an amazing job. With some amazing co-workers started $18.25 hour

Nothing easy about resturant work. I concider myself to be a very hard worker. Who was able to do many different things for perkins.

Hoist/Crane operator for operation and rigging for test rack. Testing off road Trackors built on site. Using computer to assembly of any parts that needed to be replaced.
Using provided tools with proper torque tools. With assisted blueprints on computer. Filling of all fluids which werew tested for leaking of any kind, especially O rings not damaged during assembly process. First start up test from drivers seat. Making sure everything inside electronics are working properly. Was an amazing job with great people i enjoyed very much.
