●I was a server administrator for a sub-contractor for the State of Oregon. I worked on a
●state project and was on the monitoring team.
● I logged into a secure access portal provided by the state, VDI desktop.

● I monitored application and server issues from emails sent to Outlook.
● If there were issues like, IP address conflicts, I would contact the appropriate

●I was a data processor for a small mail house. The complicated process is as follows:
● I retrieved client data through a "Jobs Folder".
● I reformatted and processed the data through FoxPro.
● I made sure the data had the correct specifications as per the job ticket.
● Once the data was formatted, I ran it through the BCC mail software to check if each address was valid.
● If an address was not valid, I asked if the address should be removed from the file.
● If specified I removed duplicate records from the file using Double Take software.
● Once the addresses were validated, I presorted them through the BCC Mail Manager software.
● If the data was "signed off" by the client it was moved to other folders to be either ink jetted, laser printed or both.

●For three years I was a computer operator for a health insurance company. My experience is as follows:
● I went through a complete operator’s checklist to ensure all systems were running normally.
● I created a nightly turnover log to list any problems that may have occurred during my shift. Problems may include job abends, hardware malfunctions, or server outages.
● I analyzed the previous shift’s turnover problems that occurred, if any.
● Called on-call personnel whenever a program quit running (abend).
● Monitored servers through Tivoli Enterprise Portal and called network on-call whenever there was a problem such as an outage.

●for the food and INFOREM replenishment/forecasting systems.
● Developed method of maintaining store service levels through automation by utilizing COBOL2, JCL, and SQL. Resulted in significant savings due to reduced inventory in warehouses while maintaining on-hand inventory in stores.
● Converted VSAM files to up-to-date and accurate web-based flat files. The files were used by buyers and store managers through the Intranet to make buying and management decisions.
● Streamlined batch processing by rewriting JCL thereby enabling quicker processing time and freeing up resources which in turn increased efficiency and productivity. Streamlining also made CICS applications available earlier due to CPU resources being freed up earlier.
