With a master’s in psychology focused on Marriage and Family Therapy from National University and ongoing substance abuse certification at SDCC, I’m driven by curiosity and a passion for growth. Collaborating with seasoned mental health professionals excites me—I thrive on learning practical strategies and connecting deeply with clients through shared experiences. My interpersonal skills allow me to build meaningful relationships and stay motivated in every setting.
During my time at National University, I completed courses including cultural competencies, treatment of addictions, and cognitive behavioral approaches, which gave me a strong foundation in therapeutic modalities. At SDCC, my substance abuse certification has involved training in assessment, relapse prevention, and motivational interviewing. I have worked alongside licensed clinicians in community outreach programs, facilitating support groups for families and individuals dealing with addiction, co-occurring disorders, and various forms of trauma. This experience sharpened my ability to adapt interventions to diverse populations and maintain empathetic, effective communication under pressure. Along with my personal experiences, I will provide the team and clients with a unique and dedicated approach to healing, growth, and recovery.
