Are you happy with your current work situation?: It's okay Your work situation is okay. It's not terrible. You don't love it. Okay is fine, but for how long? It's easy to get stuck in a routine, especially when things are comfortable. But a little bit of effort can have huge impact on your long-term happiness.
Here is where your life could improve with career training: Better pay
You're interested in earning more money. Completing a formal training program and earning credentials from a respected school could increase your earning potential and set you up to pursue more financially rewarding positions. Work that interests me
You're not interested in just finding "some job." You're ready to find a career that suites you and your interests. Finding a satisfying position that truly interests you can make an enormous difference to your overall happiness. A year from now if nothing changed, would you feel Frustrated. I do not want to be in the same situation a year from now.
Looking Ahead 1 Year: Where Will You Be?
You would be frustrated if, a year from now, nothing has changed for you. That's a great place to start! You know you're ready for something to change. One of the great things about practical, career-focused training is how quickly you can get on a new path pursuing a bright future.
Your Goals for the Future
Goals are an important motivator to keep you on track. Take a look at the list of goals below as a way to visualize what your future could look like.
Which goals are important to you? Select all that apply. I want to make more money
You're interested in earning more money. Increasing your earnings, even by a small percentage, can have a huge impact on your physical and mental wellness and your overall quality of life. Money isn't everything - but as anyone who has struggled to make ends meet or wondered if they would make it to the end of the month can tell you, it IS important. I want to have more financial security
You’re eager to feel more secure in your finances. Increasing financial security, even a small amount, can significantly decrease stress and ongoing financial pressure.
Your Social Style
Your individual social style can help identify types of careers that may bring out your strengths. I would best describe myself as...
Your social style is: Expressive
You're creative. You're excited by a spirited exchange of ideas. You like an audience and your energy and enthusiasm can motivate others. You're comfortable in social situations and like to engage in friendly conversation, sometimes before getting down to the task at hand. You're likely to depend on feelings to help make decisions. When you have a choice to make you'll often “go with your gut.” You have a competitive side and tend to be ambitious. You're not afraid to share your dreams and what you want.
Expressives are most successful in careers that allow them to interact with others, share ideas and be creative. As a member of this group, you're best-suited to professions where you work with others, collaborate on projects and have the opportunity to present your thoughts.
