*** RN Work History/ Metropolitan Hospital/Health & Hospitals Corporation As an RN at Metropolitan Hospital I became an ICU Specialty Nurse having worked in all 6 of their ICUs almost exclusively in addition to both their ERs, Peds and Adult ERs. I gained knowledge and experience in both Adult and Pediatric Emergency Rooms. I worked in Pediatric ICU, Pulmonary ICU, Medical ICU, Orthopedic ICU, Surgical ICU, Cardiac ICU. I became the Head Nurse in Pediatric ICU...and was the Charge Nurse when I rotated to the evening

shift. I left Metropolitan Hospital to attend Touro College PA Program in 1974.

***PA-C Work History/ Medical Center Clinic of Paris 1977-1980 As a PA-C there I worked in Pediatrics, Ob-Gyn, and Internal Medicine I saw Peds patients for well baby visits, vaccinations, etc school physicals and treated walk in patients with a variety of medical conditions.. I also, along with the town doctors provided free back to school physicals to any child wanting to receive the free exams every year for several years which also included eye and ear evaluations. I saw and assessed all pregnant women, classifying them as low, medium or high risk pregnancies. I performed all the physicals on the majority of pregnant women in addition to screening them for Rh factor, Rubella, Gonorrhea and other infectious diseases in addition to other conditions such as Diabetes etc... I was also in charge of following up and ensuring that those with no immunity to Rubella were vaccinated subsequent to the delivery of their infant. I was assigned to cover the 4 clinic doctors when they went out to deliver babies. I performed comprehensive physical examinations on all the patients and ordered appropriate screening tests based on age, gender and family history.etc. I also treated a variety of medical conditions, did all patient follow-ups and referred the patients to the MD when they needed to see the MD.

***PA-C Work History/New Life Medical Clinic 1980-2022 I performed comprehensive examinations on all patients, Assessed, diagnosed, ordered appropriate screenings and lab work, referred to specialty physicians when needed, initiated treatment, both prescription and non-prescription. I also saw all the Allergy patients, having done extensive allergy testing, both blood and skin testing...managed, counselled, advised, treated all those patients and with a great deal of success. In this particular practice, since it is a Preventive Medicine Holistic Medical Practice I assessed, educated, advised and comprehensively counselled the patients on "the how to implement" lifestyle changes, for better overall health outcomes with a high rate of success. As a result, about 98% of all patients seen were referred to me or the doctor, because of the thoroughness of our work in assessing and teaching the patients to help themselves, which is our business motto, as written on our appointment cards, "helping patients help themselves". I drew the blood on all the patients, administered injections, started IVs, administered trigger point injectionss..among a myriad of other responsibilities..
