Outreach Marketing Coordinator Orthopedic Trauma, University of Toledo Medical Center Toledo, OH 12/2005-05/2012
Personally, recruited by the Chairperson of Orthopedic Trauma at UTMC to create and develop a strategic marketing plan for the department. Developed a marketing campaign targeting hospitals and physicians in twenty-three counties throughout Northwest Ohio, liaising those medical professionals directly with the Chairperson of the orthopedic department. Established a specialized on-call service for clients which provided immediate access of trauma cases to expert medical opinions and more rapid transfers for trauma patient confirmations. Directly involved in building and implementing a new Policy Administration system, which included migration of existing client information. The above activities resulted in a substantial increase in patient referrals and admissions for the UTMC Orthopedic Department.
Outreach Coordinator Air & Mobile, ProMedica Toledo, Ohio 02/2005-12/2006 I used my connections within the medical community of Northwest Ohio to create a marketing program for ProMedica Transportation Network. While representing ProMedica Air & Mobile at events, I introduced the Air Ambulance and Mobile Intensive Care Unit to the public. Continued consultations with target market of Hospital Emergency Medicine Directors and County EMS throughout 13-county region of NW Ohio led to increased numbers of relationships and transfers.
