Job Objective: Skilled in structured and fibre cabling specialist from South Africa who is looking for any position as a structured cabling installer in Buffallo to get me back on my feet in America, where all experience will be fully utilized. My true passion lies in telephone and data cabling as well as fibre cabling and fault finding. Cabling career began when I completed my 3-year cabling training at South-Africa's Telkom after completing high school. Worked for 7 years at Telkom South-Africa as a technician on installation and repair of telephone and data cabling, as well as fibre installations, fault finding and repairs.

After the 7 years with Telkom, founded my own business, "Data Cabling Specialists" and operated for 27 years. I had to close my business because could no longer find work due to the fact of racism against white farmers was used as an excuse to rob whites of their businesses.

For 6 years, from 2014-2020, with my experience in Telkom I sold, installed and maintained VOIP systems along with my structured cabling systems.

After resignation from Telkom I farmed after hours on our farm that we owned. So I was able to fall back on farming when I could no longer find work with companies and went to work at Shakati for 4 years until I moved to America. Refugees and Migration. Languages • Afrikaans

1993-01 - 2020-11 (Data Cabling Specialist CC)

• As founder of Data Cabling Specialist I brought the business to a new level by providing all our clients with a reliable high speed internet system. Not only were all the points clearly numbered but I also drew up a plan, myself, on which each point was indicated. Furthermore we set it up on PHP for the clients so that the client could click on any point and pull a complete test report. On top of that a database was also set up to which extension or switch and port the point was connected. It wasn't long before our client base grew and most of our clients were large companies. Here is a list of the names of some of the clients up to and including 2013 when there was a big change in businesses due to Black Economic Empowerment (BEE):

• Comair, SAL, Sunair, Alcatel (We were their only structural cabling contractor), The precident of South Africa Thabo Mbeki's house in 1999 and also the president of Rwanda in 1999 (Pasteur Bizimungu) whose entire house was installed with Fiber to the desk.

• Our biggest ideal was to have satisfied clients who can enter the next day with a peace of mind. That was also why we stood out after-sales service.

• After 2013 it was very difficult for us to recruit clients, although our price was only R500,00 per point compared to that of BBEE businesses who tendered R1500 and got the job. All our business was good for was to sorting out the faults and mistakes that the BEE installers make. At the end of 2020, we felt forced to close our Data Cabling Specialist's doors due to the BEE factor. (2013 – Present (Mandatory Scorecard): Amended legislation tightened compliance across the country's provinces. Companies are scored on a scorecard and must hold B-BBEE certificates to do business with the state, compete for tenders, or supply major corporations. Recent procurement regulations feature set-asides, requiring large tenders to be awarded to suppliers with 100% or majority Black ownership.)

• For 6 years, from 2014-2020, I did marketing to smaller businesses, with my experience in Telkom I sold, installed and maintained VOIP systems along with my structured cabling systems.. I not only did structured and fibre cabling but also had a second profession, namely farming after hours. Farmer
