Project Description:

Smurfit WestRock is the 2nd largest packaging company in USA; the company has customers across USA and other countries. webMethods team work on integrating these partners to share the business information for different transactions like PO, ASN, Invoice etc. Team directly works with client get the requirements and develop as per company standards unit test and provide it to the client. The team also identifies and fix issues in the existing code, also works on any automation and process improvements which can help the client in the long term. Also submits the innovative ideas for automation and improvements. Also, team support all the EAI and EDI interfaces for the client as part of AMS project.

WebMethods 10.15 stack of products currently being used for all the integrations.

Role and Responsibilities:

There are two parts to this project one is the development aspect that the other support aspect.

The following are the roles and responsibilities from development aspect:

Getting the enhancements requests for new EDI partner onboarding or existing partner/interface enhancement from business and gathering of the requirements by setting up meetings with business and related stakeholders.

Once requirements and mapping specifications freeze, creation of low-level design documents and get approval from business and client technical architect to get start with development.

Once approval received from both business and client technical architects complete the development, unit testing and release it for QA/UAT testing with business and customer. Before releasing it for QA/UAT get the code reviewed by client technical architects.

Supporting the QA/UAT testing and fixing any bugs that may be raised by business or customers.

Once QA/UAT sign off received, preparation of moving the code to production, creating deployer project and CR ticket to admin team for production deployment.

Post the production movement warranty support for 1 week before formal handover to the support team.

Creation of necessary KT documents and support notes for team and walking through the documentation and changes for formal handover after 1 week of warranty support.

The following are the roles and responsibilities from support aspect:

Once the handover is completed after 1 week of warranty, need to support the interface, business will raise incidents for any issues which we need to address as per agreed SLAs. If needed, we must apply break fix to the existing code

Incident management, to resolve the support tickets within SLAs.

Server health monitoring, monitoring server health, backlogs etc. using support specified tools and reporting to admin team for any abnormalities.

For new EDI partner onboarding, we need to work with customers to get the connectivity established between webMethods and customer systems.

AS2, SFTP/FTP EDI connections need IP whitelisting requests with security teams, creation of security requests with teams to get them done and attending troubleshooting calls with customers, network teams if connectivity is not established as expected to fix it.

For AS2 connectivity the necessary AS2 certificates need to be installed in MWS profile and trust store, and we must share webMethods certificates with customers to get it installed at their end.

Mailbox support, client has 3 different mailboxes to be supported, supporting these mailboxes to provide coverage as per client expectation.

Weekend coverage for critical mailbox alerts, P1 and P2 support during weekend.

Supporting any application or customer outages by disabling/enabling the jobs.

Project Description:

Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (CECONY) and Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. (O&R) will replace their three existing Customer Information Systems (CSS, CIMS, CC&B 26) with a consolidated instance of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) for CECONY and O&R during the period from January 2020 through Dec 2023 CECONY and O&R will together be referred to herein as the Company or at times Client. CC&B will support and centralize the full range of meters to cash business processes at the Company. In addition, CC&B will directly replace many existing legacy systems and increase the technical capabilities of the Company to support future Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Time of Use (TOU) initiatives required by the New York Public Service Commission (the PSC). The new CC&B system will help the Company centralize the Company's view of the Company's customer for the call center field and back office end users using out of the box CC&B portals The service provider will provide project management organizational change management support, testing, training documentation and implementation services for conversion to and installation of solution components EAT will design, build and test the interfaces described in the Interface Catalogue. The preliminary list of interfaces impacted will be delivered as part of the Solution.

BizTalk Server 2020 and Azure Stack of Integration and Messaging Products to be used to implement this solution.

MGM project has the scope of integrating legacy applications like C2 CIS and COM applications with Click software.

Role and Responsibilities:

Involved in design of IT Connect and MGM integrations, analyzed and identified the services that need to decommission from existing integrations and new integrations.

Lead the team from offshore and make sure there are no slips ups with the deliverables at all the stages of the project

Interacted with IT Connect and MGM project team during the design and build stages to get the required Information to complete IT Connect and MGM integrations Prepared the functional design and technical design documents for all the integrations

Client had applications running on webMethods Product Suite and had selected Cognizant as the Vendor to Annuities webMethods which had webMethods as their EAl infrastructure product. As this being an ESB development project the Cognizant Team has full responsibility over ESB development in the Annuities Area.

Role and Responsibilities:

Development of new services and must make use of existing services to interact with new Admin platforms and backend systems.

During development if we come across any coding issue, design issue or any other issue we need to create a defect in HP ALM and need to follow up on that till it is closed Unit testing and INT testing support for the developed interfaces. VIDEO Uploading of all the unit test cases and test results in the HP ALM after completion of Development

Code walkthrough to design team after development and upload unit test cases. After code walk through the code needs to be moved to higher env. for that we need to raise a ticket to code move team and must upload all the required artifacts to PVCS (Version control tool)

Staples, Inc. a $27 billion USD company is the world's largest office supply chain store, with Over 2,000 stores worldwide in 27 countries. Staples had applications running on WBI and webMethods Product Suite and had selected Cognizant as the Vendor to Contract B2B webMethods which had webMethods as their EAI infrastructure product. As this being a Managed Services project the Cognizant Team has full responsibility over the issues and production tickets in Contract B2B area. As part of this project Supported Staples CTG Environment, where we have analyzed and debugged production issues in lower environment and provide the root cause analysis and recovering steps for failed transactions. Contributed towards development, developed and tested a few utilities which helped to recover failed transactions.

Role and Responsibilities:

Contributed to development activities for B2B as well as ESB Integrations Production code deployment using tools like wMDeployer, CV/Jenkins, Ant scripts

Environment management and support for production pre-production environment which can broadly include activities like start/stop of servers, purging log files etc.
