Successfully delved into the Primary Years Program (PYP) Traveled to Paris for in depth PYP training as well as met consistently with our PYP coordinator who enabled me to learn and grow.
Put into practice the six transdisciplinary themes as well as referenced the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals which proved a strong foundation for our PYP X
(Exhibition).
Implemented ELL standards in my classroom for my students as they came from different countries and spoke languages from all around the world. Created a classroom environment that is conducive to learning as well as safe and nurturing for my Title I and ELL students.
Planned lessons that differentiate and included accommodations for individual student plans and Tier II and Tier III instruction. Encouraged students to set and maintain HIGH standards of both classroom and academic behavior.
Put into practice the Shurley Grammar curriculum into the classroom. Lead critical thinking discussions based on classical literature. I mplemented effective communication with parents.
