Gauteng Department of Sports Art's Culture and Recreation Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:

Preparing Weekly Plans, Weekly Reports, Trip Authorities, and Monthly Reports. Manage sports budget and resources

Preparing RLS01s and seeking quotations and supporting document from the suppliers and service providers for school sport program's and consumables. Provide administrative and logistical support during the District, Regiona and Provincial games. Ensuring compliance with schools and sport federations. Facilitate and record all information including statistics with regards to the program implementation.

Submit Monthly reports to Gauteng Department of Education Sport Official and to the Sports Art's Culture and Recreation Provincial Office.

Arrange training workshop or capacity building for teachers and volunteers involved in the school sport program's.

Support the Department of Sports Art's Culture and Recreation to implement the school sport program's.

Promote the school sport program's to increase learner and School participation in the Area, Cluster and District School Sport Program.

Act as the link between schools, sport organization's, district or provincial sports department. OBJECTIVE

Fixing broken desks, chairs and classroom furnitures. Repairing doors, locks, windows, and notice boards. Repairing leaking taps, toilets and urinals.

Repair and replace roof sheet blown away by wind, facial boards, gutters and downpipes. Cleaning of indoors of core specialist and common areas such as sweeping the schoolyard,open spaces, playground and sports fields. Cleaning water drainage systems, gutters, and downpipes. Picking up of the papers and disposing thereof in the waste bins or waste disposal area. Basic gardening such as planting flowers, trees, and removing weeds. Maintaining the garden and watering trees and flowers. Inspect playground equipment to ensure safety for the children.
