Created Confluence wiki pages for testing team which included steps to load builds to legacy and new generation STBs. Process of editing JSON, XML, and other configuration files.

Worked with Linux servers, SVN, and Oracle database. During testing I would have to edit JSON or XML files to test new feature that would have to be enabled through configuration files. Files would also have to be committed into SVN in order to be downloaded during booting process. I would also have to edit paths in Linux based system files in order to be redirected to correct location during download. Also works with DB to verify recorded assets using SQL queries for date validation of saving, updating, or removing during testing.

Created/maintained test cases from product requirement documentation. Also worked with developers to come up with new watchdog tests to execute on STBs to find any issues that may have entered Dev environment during testing from 3th party vendors systems.

Worked with 3th party vendors to validated there fixes when issues were found on there side during testing. As part of this process I had to help troubleshoot to find the root cause.
