To the Shop Manager,

I am writing to introduce myself and express my interest in an entry level position in your automotive shop, such as shop helper, lube/tire assistant, or general support.

I have training in Automotive Mechanical Engineering and hands on experience assisting with vehicle maintenance, using shop tools, and working in physically demanding, safety focused environments. I recently moved to Swift Current and am legally authorized to work in Canada. My goal is to gain Canadian shop experience, learn directly from experienced technicians, and earn greater responsibility through reliability, hard work, and a positive attitude.

I am fully willing to start with shop cleanup, organizing tools, assisting technicians, or basic service tasks. I take pride in showing up on time, following instructions, and contributing wherever needed. Over time, I hope to grow into more hands on mechanical work and pursue an apprenticeship path if the opportunity becomes available.

Thank you for taking the time to review my resume. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you in person.

Sincerely,

Daniel Rocha Sotelo
