April 2024 to Present:

Property Associate, Farmers Furniture Corporate Office, Dublin, Ga. Performs a variety of clerical duties for the Store Services Dept. such as greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, relaying messages to staff members, providing information and assistance, preparing agendas and calendars, typing letters, memos, filing, distribution, etc. Maintains various files on stores for construction, maintenance, leasing correspondence, vendors, contractors, store managers. Copies and forwards invoices for approval; forwards to appropriate department for payment. Works as a liaison with various vendors, landlords, and contractors for the executive director of real estate; staff. Assists with the coordination of construction repairs, maintenance and leasehold improvements. Property Mgr., Carriage Hill Apartments, Dublin, Ga. Responsible for occupancy, collections, budget requirements for parts, supplies and capital expenses. Maintain occupied units and insure vacant units are rent ready in a timely manner. Adhering to HUD, Section 8 requirements. Supervise service manager on day to day activities. Oversee work orders and guarantee residents satisfaction with service and are comfortable in their environment. August 2001 to January 2005:

Office Mgr., Estimating Department, Dublin Construction Company, Dublin, Ga. Responsible for communication with subcontractors on bids. Organized all bids to deliver to the chief estimator. Coded invoices for accounts payable. Reviewed and approved all percentage of completion invoices from subcontractors. Submitted all required engineering documents for construction project manager for approval. Maintained spreadsheets on materials purchased for individual projects.

Experience:

Knowledgeable in all Microsoft programs, Excel, Word, and Power Point presentations. Have been exposed to and worked in several different accounts receivable and accounts payable software as well as the Yardi and Savi programs. Not current in QuickBooks but have worked with that program in the past. I would bring a wealth of management experience, cost effectiveness, and interpersonal skills to your organization.
