I’m currently looking for opportunity now and previously work on Drilling and Mining industry as a Backend Office Systems Admin (BPO). I’m responsible on their IT systems not limited to Cloud, SaaS, Domain, Website, computer and network security, mailbox, Software and Apps etc. I spent most of my day on technical problems that might encounter within the day. Most of my work involve creating mailbox in Office/Microsoft 365, update and patch computer in the organization. I had opportunity abroad in a Military/Aviation Facility specifically PMEL for (NAVAIR) as part of the air and naval force. I’m in-charge of a team consisting of 10 technicians, IT specialists and systems administrator. We support the Kuwait Air Force Calibration Metrology . I’m responsible on the management, maintain, plan and implement/develop the entire IT infrastructure. Ensuring that the Network, Active Directory, NAS and all of the servers/workstation are up and running properly. I also keep the network secure and Virus free (Centralize management ESET Endpoint and Symantec Endpoint).I handle the Laboratory’s main calibration system Met Team/Met Track/ Met CAL. The Database is running on SQL Server. Successfully upgraded and migrated the entire Calibration Tracking System from MET Track to MET TEAM. I handle the network about 150 Client workstation of the 5 bases namely; the main PMEL Laboratory, Al Jaber, Al Salem, Army and Navy Bases. I provide the creation / updates of SOP, technical documentations and IT solutions. I provide programming and document automation running in Crystal report 8. I’m also in-charge of the NAS. The company’s main back up system. In addition I implemented some automated calibration for the DC/LF, RF Microwave and Instrument Standards.
On my previous company, I have handled the building, cloning maintenance of Virtual servers environment of the company’s business partner and put it into production. This Includes administering Active Directory and providing access to end users.
We use a ticketing system (Remedy) to manage administrative request to administer servers. I handle server build both Physical and Virtual using virtualization software (VMware,VSphere). I also have working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.,. We install patches (Critical update via SCCM) and updates (Sophos Virus Signature) for servers running in windows server 2003, 2008 and 2012. I also handle DNS related task, DNS entries and IP Compliance for BladeLogic Application. This includes complex troubleshooting. I also provide solutions for problem and continuous improvement to the Company’s process.
I had the opportunity to plan and design the Network Infrastructure and its Implementation. I have a strong background in windows systems administration and been maintaining server environment with RAID, NAS and SAN Storage File server. Also Active Directory with both PDC and Secondary Domain Controller running in a TCP/IP network consisting of DNS, DHCP and Exchange Server. In addition, I can configure Exchange Server .
