WORK EXPERIENCE

Harlingen CISD School Nurse – November 2017 to Present Roles and duties of a school nurse by adhering to all the rules set up by the state of Texas. Providing direct student healthcare, managing, chronic conditions, administering medication, conducting health, screenings, and the handling of all emergencies. Registered Nurse/Office Manager – August 2004 to July 2017 Women's Health Specialist/Hunters Women's Clinic - Harlingen, TX from August 2004 to Present. I performed all nursing RN duties. When the office manager left, I took over and did the Office Manger position including payroll, paying the bills, accounts receivable and ordering supplies and equipment. I ran an office doing payroll, accounts receivable, paying bills, ordering supplies and equipment, took care of all bank accounts and hiring employees from 2011 to present. Surgical Technologist then to R.N. - October 1979 to August 2004 I ran the OR for 23 years. I started the surgical clinic and did all of the clinic and surgical schedule, working closely with the different referring agencies. I also did all the coding of surgical procedures. I did the surgery inventory and all of the ordering of surgical instruments and supplies. I worked closely with all of the Physicians and assisted them in their clinics as needed. While doing all of this, I became an R.N. and then became a floor nurse and did records review until my retirement. EDUCATION

I am a hard working and loyal employee who likes to learn new things and experience new things. I am on time (usually early) to the job site, I enjoy people and I generally have a smile on my face.
