Project: Reporting System For Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory Technologies:SQL Server 2008 R2, .Net Framework 3.5 with VB language, Multi-Threading, Serial Data communication, Encryption of Data.

Description: We developed a customized Reporting System for Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory, India. Initially requirement was to develop and demonstrate integration of one HMI Machine with our software. Therefore, we carried out pilot project with one Machine. After its successful implementation, we did this project for almost 40 Machines. Reports should be available on X-Force system in Non-editable format.

● My role in this project was to develop the software as per user requirement. In project, customer interaction was entirely handled by me. Firstly, we had successfully captured dynamic reports of 40 HMI on single centralized Server.

● Reports were captured serially from HMI and then converted to Ethernet using Moxa Nport as distance was long.

● Threading concepts was used to capture all the data from different machines at the same time and for segregating them batch and lot wise.

● These reports were required in non-editable format. Therefore, we had carried out encryption before storing the reports on file.

● Then as expansion project we developed to export it into excel format also between given time span.

Project: OPC AE – Generalized Application Common for many projects Technologies:XML, .Net Framework 3.5 with VB language, Telerik Controls 2011 Q2 Windows.

Description: OPC A&E is a standard (Protocol) for communicating alarm and event data on demand, as opposed to the continuous communications in the OPC Data Access group. With improvement in technology, new protocol to capture alarms and events from DCS came i.e. OPC AE. Development of business logic and GUI based for OPC AE Client. Using Class based concepts of OOP this application was developed for handling multi-channel i.e. multiple OPC AE servers (available on different DCS (PC)) can be connected using same application and it can give alarms and events to Alarm and Information Management System. Entire configuration was XML based. Project: Triconex – Generalized Application Common for many projects Technologies:.Net Framework 3.5 with VB language, Multi-Threading, Serial/Ethernet Printing, File Read/Write.

Description: Triconex systems are shutdown systems provided by Schneider Electric. Interfacing to capture its events to Alarm Management system is not available in Triconex System.

● We developed one Utility to print Alarm and Events from Triconex System on Alarm Management system.

● Major challenge in this application was the source system from which we had to take data locks the file, which we had to read and if any other application opens that file, it stops writing events for some time. Therefore, we had tested it thoroughly in one of our international Project and succeeded in the same.
