University of Arkansas – Graduate Assistant 9 - month August 2024 – Present I Work as a College Physics I and II Teaching Assistant. Main duties are to be the instructor of the Lab and Drill sections. During Lab sections, I teach students about fundamental concepts of physics through guided experiments and assist them with conducting the lab by working alongside them. This includes hardware and software setup, explanations of how to use lab equipment, the meaning of what was measured during experiments, and any troubleshooting. During drill sections, I help students work on problems pertinent to what they were taught in lecture during the week, assisting them with any questions they have and verifying they have correct answers. I also proctor and grade exams, drill, and lab sessions and due office hours. I also respond to and resolve questions from email or messages through blackboard students send me. University of Arkansas' Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program – University Affiliate May 2023 – July 2023
Conducted research for the University of Arkansas Physics Department. In particular, I worked with Dr. Jin Hu in the Synthesis and Characterization of a class of 2D materials called Misfit Layered Compounds. Prepared and synthesized various compounds, analyzed magnetic traits and composition. Gave oral presentations at the University of Arkansas for the REU program and IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE). Wrote a formal paper over the research conducted.
