Received daily request for pricing on intermodal movements and used SAP as well as other miscellaneous reporting systems. Responsible for answering request to any given destination by providing the most time efficient and COST-EFFECTIVE routing. Assisted with moving cargo containers via ports throughout North America to destinations by truck or railway.

Trained all new employees on policies, procedures, and job functions. Updated railroad and truck rates as needed.

Communicated with the sales department concerning movement of containers.

Requested and calculated the manpower hours to load and unload a ship at port.

Calculated the number of containers that were shipped on the vessels. Used spreadsheets to calculate the payroll hours for the Maersk employees working on the docks and vessels.
