Primary duties consisted of conducting preconstruction and design walks, interpreting construction drawings, RF design sheets, structural analyses, ordering proper materials and construction steel, and creating proper BOMs. I interact with and direct construction crews as to T-Mobile expectations, ensure T-Mobile standards are observed, conduct post construction quality inspections, then approve or reject closeout documentation for payment. I interact in multi-level team situations on numerous overlay site builds, generator installations, Microwave, and new site builds. There are numerous other administrative responsibilities such as project tracking, inspecting sites for safety and OSHA compliance, recommending safety protocols to be installed in my market area, etc.

Worked with Customer and Vendor on turnkey operation covering the Central Gulf Coast region.
Area of responsibility encompassed Pensacola, FL., states of Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Western Tennessee, and Houston TX.
I supervised 10 Construction Managers, worked with 5 Project Managers, and over 10 Contract companies. This was an End-to-End plan which entailed scoping to the Closeout package completion and Verizon acceptance.
Project wound down and I moved on to the next project.

I supervised 10 Construction Managers, multiple Project Managers, and over 10 Contract companies. This was an End-to-End plan in which entailed scoping to the Closeout package completion and T-Mobile acceptance.
My duties also include verifying CRs are appropriate for the build, reviewing all NTPs for accuracy and requesting corrections when irregularities are found. My duties included resolving any issues that arose in the field. I reviewed RFDS, CDs, Sas, MAs, and Scoping documentation. I also reviewed BOMs for accuracy and ordered missing items needed for the build. I interacted directly with the customer to ensure all needs are met. There were numerous unlisted administrative duties for which I performed as directed by the Project director.

Project Specific Employee.
Direct tower crews and electricians in the T-Mobile modernization of T-Mobile cell sites, I would then commission and integrate the sites for 2G, 3G, and LTE technologies.
I was responsible for site walks, insuring NTPs were issued, making sure the BOMs were correct, work permits were issued when needed, and SCOPs were completed as per T-Mobile requirements.

Senior Contract RF installation and integration Tech
Installation, test, and integration of Andrews RXAIT, MCPA, ASU, InSite units, and Kentrox remotes with Sierra wireless modems throughout the United States. This also includes going into Markets, in advance, site surveys for power issues, HVAC strengths, cable lengths, etc. for placement and installation of the equipment.
Was contracted with Kentrox Corp. to install, configure, and integrate their lines of remotes, including Light and Siren combinations, Cameras, power, temp., and humidity sensors. This required me to know how to write the configuration scripts to modify the units.
I was contracted to Andrew/Commscope to install, test, and commission their new InSite units along with a cooling solution on an AT&T contract.

AT&T Laboratories
My duties included installation, testing, and integration of RF equipment involving Andrews RXAIT Units and Ericsson UMTS Node B for the GSM network for the AT&T contract in California before going to the AT&T research and developmental lab in Middletown, New Jersey. My responsibilities included the installation and integration of equipment for the U-verse technologies. Equipment included Sun Microsystems servers, switches, and routers, Cisco 15454s, 6500s, 12000s, Juniper routers, are among the bulk of equipment installed.

I was contracted to Wachter Technologies as Data technician to install RFID units for Sam’s Clubs across the United States. After completing the Wachter rollout,
I travelled to Michigan to do site surveys for installation of LMU equipment for end customer, AT&T.

I supervised crew leads on installation, test and turn up of RF equipment involving Andrews RX-AIT bays including DSX shelves, CAU shelves, as well as site prep for the equipment. I also work hands on with the installation of the equipment as well as doing the administrative portion of my responsibilities.

RF Installation Technician
Team Lead for installation, test, and turn up of RF equipment involving CCI Rx-AIT and True Positions LMU Equipment. Installation of the Rx-AIT would involve mounting the equipment, running Coax to antennas and to Line monitoring units (LMU) with installation of Cat 5 Ethernet cables. I have experience with the Anritzu Handheld Site Master, Procomm Plus applications. This position has me traveling constantly from market to market nationwide.

Installed and supervised installation of Nortel OC-192, Optera, OC-48 as well as other Nortel equipment. I have also installed Cienna, Cisco, Dynastar, as well as other telecommunications equipment under a Verizon Business contract.
I also installed all coax, cat 5, fiber optics cables, P.O.T.S. (plain old telephone service) lines, and up to 100 pair cables to 66 and 100 punch-down blocks associated with the installation of the equipment. This also included ASYNC cables, pan duct, and ladder rack to mount the equipment.
I was DIZN certified which allowed me to work in sensitive government areas. Experience with Siemens Ultra Long-Haul equipment.

Installation of residential cable television and high-speed internet. This consisted of installation of TV cable from the utility poles all the way to the back of the TV. It was also the same with High-speed internet. I interacted constantly with the customers to install Time Warner cable and equipment in their home or business.

My duties included installation of fiber optic equipment as well as other telecommunications equipment including Redback, VYVX, Tellab, Alcatel, as well as many others.
I also installed all coax, cat 5, fiber optics cables, P.O.T.S. (plain old telephone service) lines, and up to 100 pair cables to 66 and 100 punch-down blocks associated with the installation of the equipment. This also included ASYNC cables, pan duct, and ladder rack to mount the equipment.
I was certified with Wiltel Communication and regularly worked alone in completing Projects assigned to me. My area of responsibility was east of the Mississippi River.

Certified Telecom Technician/ Team Lead
Installed and supervised installation of Nortel OC-192, Optera, OC-48 as well as other Nortel equipment. I have also installed Cienna, Cisco, Dynastar, and diverse telecommunications equipment under an MCI contract.
I was DIZN certified, which allowed me to work in sensitive government areas. I supervised a crew of seven in installation of the above equipment until cutbacks caused me to slowly lose my crew until I was the only one left.
When MCI filed for bankruptcy, I was one of the very last contractors to be released.
