Handling and recording a high volume of daily financial
(buying, selling, switching, redeeming mutual fund units) and non-financial(change of contact details, bank mandates, nominee registration) transactions initiated by investors and distributors.
Ensuring the accurate and confidential maintenance of a vast investor database, including personal information, KYC
(Know Your Customer) records, and transaction histories. This involves data entry, quality checks, and real-time updates across the system.
Performing regular payment and transaction reconciliations to ensure all records across various systems (internal, bank, AMCs) are consistent and accurate.
Coordinating with internal teams and external
stakeholders(distributors, banks, custodians) to ensure seamless process flow and efficient service delivery.
Handling Large volumes of data daily from various sources, including online portals(myCAMS, Edge360 for
distributors), physical service centers, third-party vendors, and direct API integrations with asset management
Companies(AMSs). This includes new investor applications, transaction requests (buy, sell, switch, SIP/SWP registration), and KYC documents.
Data Validation and Quality Checks in the ingested data goes through automated and rules-based validation using CAMS proprietary software platforms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory standards. This step uses tools to check for errors, duplicates, formatting issues, and invalid details.
