My job consists of interviewing clients that come into the DeKalb Crisis Center for Mental Health and substance use. This is done by getting demographic information and insurance verification. The information is then entered into the computer using the program Avatar and a state systems, CSP Broad. Each day a census of all the clients who are admitted to the Crisis Center is conducted. This report is sent to the different clinics that need the information.
Handled incoming calls and directed inquiries to appropriate departments.
