While attending, I founded the FLCC poetry club, “Dead Poets Society.” I ran the meetings and planned and participated in promotional events. I also created and managed social media pages for this club until I graduated. Our members also worked together to design and create a zine, full of poetry, art, quotes, and anything else we liked to distribute across campus and beyond.
My last semester, I took a Literary Journal Publishing class, which had me and my classmates act as editors for the 2022 issue of Isotrope, FLCC’s international literary journal. Along with reading through and selecting submissions across multiple genres, I managed the social media pages for Isotrope for the duration of that semester.
