My largest project was an major upgrade that covered 13 countries and 56 plants.

I was Project Manager and Program Manager for several large, complex, international consulting assignments. I managed teams of 3 to 14 consultants who implemented the LX (BPCS) and XA (MAPICS) ERP software systems and various add-on products. I was often called on to take on problem implementations and worked to make them successful and referenceable.

I managed 16 employees in the sales, delivery, and execution of successful software/management solutions. We consulted with our clients to determine the problem areas, and assisted the clients to purchase and implement software solutions, while improving their internal processes. This grew from a small start-up company to over $12 million in annual sales, with many international clients. BPCS and MAPICS were the primary products we supported.
One of my major clients includes a $3.2 billion company with 6 divisions. We were working with their second largest division to define and map the Current State business processes, to define and map the Future State processes, and assist them to move from current to future state. My work involves workers from the board room down to the shipping floor. The estimated annual savings on this project is almost $7 million per year.

I managed a team of Senior Consultants (8 Account Managers and 16 Engagement Managers) who, as the day-to-day on-site project leaders at our client sites, implemented our products, directed the implementations, and ensured client satisfaction. The focus of these products includes ERP, eCommerce, B2B, business process improvement, and enterprise application integration. In fiscal year 2000 my teams accounted for about $16 million in company revenues. I also managed the Education Specialists and created the Education/Training Center for our company. This team generated approximately $4 million in revenue for fiscal year 2000. I had full P & L and administrative responsibility for both these functions. My responsibilities included managing the BPCS practice, composed of up to 44 professionals
I was involved in an economic downsizing that several included members of the senior management team, as well as over 60 members of my team.
06/94 – 07/97 Account Executive (Senior Principal Consultant)
In this position I functioned as the client executive contact within our company, working with client executives to ensure client satisfaction and quality services delivery. I had P & L responsibility for 3 to 10 clients at any one time while monitoring the overall success of our teams in the client base. This position is primarily responsible for generating successful client relationships, referenceable clients, and creating installed base revenue. My client base generated about $7 million in revenue during fiscal year 1997.
03/86 – 05/94 Senior Manufacturing Consultant/Project Leader
I worked with client personnel and our internal resources to improve the manufacturing processes, to train the client, and to implement our ERP/MRP package, BPCS, for clients with multiple facilities worldwide. Each of my 12 implementations came in under budget, on-time, and with exceptional client satisfaction ratings.

I managed a staff of 7 professionals to move this company from a TI 990 mini-computer to an IBM S/38 and eventually to an AS/400 computer running the DATA/3 ERP/MRP software. We implemented a full closed-loop system, including manufacturing, distribution, financials, and bar-coding software. Within 3 years Gaston County Dyeing Machine was certified as a world class manufacturing company by the Ollie Wight group. My team was also directly responsible for annual savings of over $2,000,000 per year.

I worked with a team of 9 programmer/analysts and consultants to implement the IBM MAPICS ERP/MRP system in textiles companies and textile machinery manufacturers all over the world, including Japan, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Belgium, and Argentina. Computer Systems was eventually sold to the Ernst & Whinney public accounting firm.
