Browns Plantations Kenya- Kitumbe Tea Factory; November 2024 to date Duties and Responsibilities

In-charge of compliance to subscribed standards. Prepare and conducts audits on FSSC 22000 V 6.0, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade, Ecocert-organic and OHS Inspection.

Ensure verification activities are conducted as per the schedule.

Manage the customer complaint process. Investigate quality complaints and implement corrective actions. Monitor trends in customer feedback and drive improvements. Conducting training and and keeping records of the same.

Train employees on quality standards, SOPs, inductions and best practices.

Supervise and guide the quality assurance team. Assign responsibilities, review performance, and support professional development.

Setting of quality and food safety objectives for all teams

In charge of manufacturing operations by ensuring effective planning and seamless coordination of production process from green leaf reception to packing and dispatch of made tea.

Responsible for health and safety function during the manufacture shift

Implementing quality management systems during manufacture through application of science and art of tea making consistently produce quality tea that meet customer requirements.

Driving the highest standards of the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by proper planning and coordination of team members.
