Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you the full-time position of Press Operator with an anticipated start date of December 4, 2023. This position is contingent upon a clean background check and drug screen. You will report directly to Paul Wallace, 2nd shift Press Manager. Working hours are from Monday through Friday, 12 hours shifts, 5pm to 5am. We are happy to offer you:
• $33.00 per hour – payment is bi-weekly via direct deposit
• $1 per regular hour worked – shift premium
• 2 weeks’ prorated vacation first year
• Reasonable relocation expenses up to $2500
• Sign on bonus of $5000 paid in two installments per below agreement All relocation and retention amounts are subject to Federal, State and local tax when applicable, Company recommends you consult with your tax accountant to understand the tax implication. LPC offers a comprehensive benefit program, which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability and a few other optional plans to help supplement income should you become ill. Your benefits will become effective January 1, 2024. You will need to enroll by December 20, 2023.
You are also eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan, with a company match after one year of service. We have enrollment twice annually. Please review your attached new hire packet for the additional information.
As the Pressman you will be responsible for the following: SUMMARY
To print custom, backorders and stock items in order to meet customer needs and demands in a timely manner.
SAFETY
• Leads through example by adhering to all safety, HR, and operational policies and procedures.
• Takes the lead on all safety initiatives and ensures the safety of his/her crew.
• Sets clear job performance expectations - including clear safety expectations.
• Inspects his/her geographical area of control on a regular and consistent basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Knowledge of the setup and operation of assigned printing equipment.
• Print order following the information and specifics listed on the work order with an emphasis on accuracy.
• Calculate and record an exact account of all completed work on a weekly performance sheet.
• Knowledge of required measuring instruments (scales, calipers, and densitometer).
• Registration monitoring, interpret shop floor paperwork and drawings.
• Measure stock and have it cut appropriately for the specific work order.
• Conduct weekly maintenance on machinery, reporting any issues or problems to your supervisor.
• Return and file all artwork and plates to its designated area on a daily basis.
• Take inventory of materials for the week and month.
• Continually learning new processes to increase efficiency as well as maintaining proficiency in operation of all current equipment, including but not limited to all offset equipment.
• Assist feeder operator with the training process and daily task to assure business needs are met.
• Responsible for all work being completed in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Technical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.
• Detail and results oriented, with emphasis on accuracy. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must have a high school diploma – Printing trades preferred; or a combination of education and experience. Three years’ experience in printing.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to read and comprehend job tickets, customer specifications, and memos. Ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization. The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Climate controlled year-round. The noise level is usually moderate. Relocation Agreement
Lewisburg Printing Company (“LPC” or the “Company”) will reimburse you for up to $2,500 in reasonable and documented relocation expenses and temporary housing. You may submit the documentation supporting the actual relocation and lease termination costs incurred no later than 30 days after the related expenses are paid.
Relocation and related expense reimbursement may subject to Federal, State and local tax where applicable, Company recommends you consult with your tax accountant to understand the potential tax implication.
Both parties agree that Employee’s employment with LPC is at will, meaning either party may terminate the relationship at any time and for any reason or no reason at all, and is not bound by any written or formal agreements.
However, if Employee voluntarily departs or is Terminated for cause prior to twelve (12) months from the date Employee is assigned to commence working in the new work location, or the Employee does not relocate after expenses have been incurred, Employee agrees to repay 100% of LPC expenses incurred within 10 calendar days of separation. Retention Bonus
Lewisburg Printing Company (“LPC” or the “Company”) will provide you a 1 time retention bonus of $5,000 total [$2,500 payable after 30 days and $2,500 payable after 90 days of employment] for accepting and starting the full-time 2nd shift position of Press Operator with Lewisburg Printing Company.

Both parties agree that Employee’s employment with LPC is at will, meaning either party may terminate the relationship at any time and for any reason or no reason at all, and is not bound by any written or formal agreements.
