$1 billion New Hospital for the Government of Kuwait – Resident Engineer services for the largest single facility hospital in the Middle East. It will be ~7million sq.ft. and include underground parking for 4,000 cars, 1200 beds, and generating and tank facilities to allow the hospital to be self supporting dependent on fuel and water deliveries. The project has been designed to American standards.
$200K Atlanta Public Schools – Project manager for an extensive school renovation program.
$500K Aquatic Center Atlanta, GA – Construction administrator/owners rep for an aquatic center (swimming pool) for the 1996 Olympics. Discussions with the engineering consultants confirmed that inadequate compaction was provided for the portion of the pool that was supported by loose fill.
$150 million Commercial Mixed Use complex in Jakarta, Indonesia – Resident engineering administration services. Client was not willing to utilize the primary recommendations of the architectural consultant and therefore stopped the project. The architectural consultant requested that I oversee the replacement of excavated dirt in the project because the project was located adjacent to a major road in Jakarta.
$85 million TVA Office Complex – Construction preplanning for a 1.25 million square foot office complex in the City of Chattanooga, TN. This included creating the base construction schedule to meet the requirements of the TVA.
$55 million Sectra System – Construction of multi-unit residential cast-in-place concrete building structures using the Sectra System
$15 million Parking Garage for a hotel in the University City area of Philadelphia, PA – support structural engineering work.
