6/2013 - 05/2014
CNA - In home health aid -
I cared for patients with mental and physical disabilities. This job required me to travel quite a lot to different homes in multiple cities. Involved cleaning, making sure medications were taken, meal preparation, assisting in bathing, or sometimes bed bath, shopping, taking to and from Dr. appointments, running errands, etc. Making appointments for patients, recording daily voids, intakes, and filing and faxing paperwork.
Office Receptionist/Lab Processor
Baptist Health Floyd
06/21/2014 - 09/06/2016
I was in charge of running the front office, that required faxing, labeling and processing specimens(blood, urine, stool samples, as well as pathology specimens), getting orders from Dr's, sending specimen results to Dr's, speaking with Dr's offices on the phone to give results or to fax results.
I was also a lab processor, and this meant I would set specimens up to be sent out to various labs in the United States. Taking care of send outs was a very BIG job, I LOVED it though. It was very fast pace and always busy. I'm very good with computers, phones, faxing, typing, and I'm a very fast learner.
Receptionist
Baptist Health Floyd - PAFK
09/2016 - 10/19/2017
Receptionist- I was in charge of taking messages for the two Dr's I worked for. I spoke to their patients and put in office notes regarding prescriptions, needing orders for MRI's, Xray's, blood work, scheduling appts, or just needing to speak to their physician, I was always on the phone and computer to accomplish these tasks which only enhanced my typing and computer skills more - It's very important to me to work as a team, I feel it helps get tasks done more efficiently and faster, I am very fast at learning new programs, and work well fast pace.
I've spent the last two years working as a medical assistant which involved drawing blood, collecting specimens, taking vitals, and working under a NP, or Dr.
Healthcare is always where I've wanted to be, even at a young age, it's what I know and love -

Customer support representative
It was a small town business, but extremely busy and fast pace. All communication was done through the computer on a chat program, I took care of peoples questions about parts that were needed for various machines ranging from microwaves to car parts. Because all communication was done through the computer chat I became even more familiar with various programs, and typing fast was an absolute must. I usually type 60 wpm, with some errors. It was very fast pace and demanding which was one of the things I loved about it the most –
First capital medical group –
06/2017 – 06/2019
Medical assistant/front office receptionist
I took care of patient vitals, injections, blood draws. Etc. some days I worked front office scheduling patients in person, and some days I worked back office calling patients with results, calling to schedule and or reschedule, and other days I worked as a MA for Eric, McCarty, one of the Np’s that I worked for in the office. I took care of patients vitals when they came in for appts, at times blood draws, urine specimens, and some times specific injections, like allergy injections or steroid.
Norton Audubon lab –

Lab associate and processor as well as phlebotomist. I took care of outpatient blood work draw, as well as inpatient. I took care of specimens going out to various labs across the country, some for stat testing. I’m very versed in accessioning, receiving, and labeling specimens.
Labcorp
Specimen accessioner- 10/22 – 7/23
I worked full time as a lab specimen accessioner. I worked nights, receiving, ordering, and accessioning specimens that were brought to us from all over the state. We received, ordered additional testing and or checked current orders to complete sending the specimens off. We were kind of the last stop on the specimens way so if there was an error it was my job to catch it, so definite attention to detail
