When hired, I started as a cashier but was soon moved to the bakery due to being short-staffed. As a bakery clerk, I was responsible for opening, closing, and working mid-shifts. I made a continuous effort to learn new skills daily to be able to lend a helping hand in any area when needed. I was responsible for baking breads and pastries, as well as cake decorating and filling the floor when inventory got low. I brought new and up-to-date creativity to display cakes, which sold well with the customers. On our busiest days, I assisted my coworkers when needed once I was finished with my tasks, to keep inventory stocked and sales stable.
