I have ** years of experience in the heavy stamping and automotive manufacturing sector. I am a certified tool and die maker graduated from the Magna Training center. I bring many years of experience solving problems in part quality, production issues, and cost savings. I have worked through part quality issues both in the press shop and in automated assembly weld lines. On many new program launched I have preformed material savings studies to develop smaller blank sizes, narrower strip widths, and shorter progressions. I have been involved in improving efficiency in the press shop and assembly departments. In the press shop I have been responsible for increasing strokes per minute and with improving panel transferring and implementing transfer automation. In the assembly department I have taken on projects to shorten cycle time by improving part location and ease of loading fixtures. I have also improved cost savings by improving change over time both in the press shop as well as automated weld lines.
