Virtual Infrastructure Engineer
Coventry and Aetna acquired by CVS health in 2017.
• Performed duties related to Virtual Infrastructure Engineering, from bare metal to ESXi vCenters consisting of over 5,000 plus hosts.
• Annually researched ESXi upgrades from 4.0 to 7.0. Configured remediation of host patches and upgrades.
• Responded to VMware critical vulnerabilities and assessed with Security team on patching stipulations.
• Assessed hardware suitability as infrastructure grew and worked on acquiring new hardware if necessary.
• Consistently accessed hardware via Intelligent Platform Management Interfaces and Baseboard Management Controllers for hardware troubleshooting and upgrading. Interfaces include HP (iLO), Dell EMC (iDrac), Cisco UCSM, IBM and Nutanix.

In charge of network configuration and maintenance of a Microsoft Windows 2003/IBM AS/400 centralized Data Center, along with telecommunications implementation, management of Domain Controllers and various types of end-user equipment throughout North America.
