MENTORSHIP
NORCO Correctional Facility
I have faced significant challenges, including time spent incarcerated, which has given me a unique perspective on recovery, change, and personal growth. Through that experience, I developed a strong sense of empathy, accountability, and resilience. Today, I’m passionate about using those lessons to support others who are struggling with mental health and show that positive transformation is possible for anyone. I’ve learned the value of self-awareness, patience, and communication, and I’m committed to using those skills to support others in finding hope and stability.
Restorative mentorship training from 2023-2024. Facilitated the mentorship of 50 clients at NORCO Correctional Facility. Mentorship entailed motivational interviewing, obtaining resources, and holding space for clients. Mentored in multiple settings and have also maintained a mentorship relationship.
