Project Description : Survey on the incidence of basal rot disease in different onion growing areas of Tamil Nadu.Isolation of different isolates of the pathogen to establish the pathogenicity and select the most virulent isolate for further studies. Isolation of rhizosphere antagonistic microflora in different onion growing areas of Tamil Nadu. In vitro screening of different isolates of antagonistic microflora against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cepae. In vitro screening of different organic amendments against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cepae. Duration : 90 Days
