Main duties:
Coordinate the distribution of truck permit books for current and new assets. Driver fitness (MVR annual review, renewing medical cards etc.) Maintain roadside inspections and citations including overweight, traffic violations, etc. Scheduling pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests Stay up to date on safety regulations and industry best practices to continuously improve workplace safety.
Maintain safety records, including training documentation, and safety data sheetsBuild and maintain Driver Qualification files.
Responsible for registration, compliance, and permits for all company equipment. Maintain an internal database with current driver status, license information, and DOT compliance information.
Ensure drivers remain compliant with annual physicals, drug/alcohol screenings, and driver license renewals in accordance with all state, federal and local laws. Report non-compliant drivers or incidents to the Safety Director for corrective action/discipline.
Operate with strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and innovative thinking skills.
Maintain roadside inspections and citations including overweight, traffic violations, etc. Calculate and file quarterly fuel taxes (IFTA) for the company timely. Using Pro-transport trucking software on daily basis to manage my day to day tasks Knowledgeable about Tenstreet trucking software, mainly using it for pre employment verifications and managing DQ files
