Robert is a life-long Alaskan, with a wealth of experience, from engineering design to construction management through project management for a myriad of clients from Oil and Gas clients to Private Development to Rural and Industrial Alaska clients. Robert has provided Civil Engineering design expertise for large private development projects such as Tikahtnu Commons, Glenn Square and JL Tower in Anchorage, to Native Corporations, to Federal facilities (USF&WS and NPS), primarily engineering support for land development projects, civil site grading and drainage design, water and sewer utility extensions, and transportation planning and local and state permitting. Robert also reviewed contractor submittals as a design engineer at DOWL and has performed construction administration, such as review and submission of required materials for product approval, schedule, construction plans and provided oversight of inspection of construction sites for adherence to design and specifications and performance testing (for the contractor, Quality Control). In addition, Robert has also managed industrial and rural projects for wind turbine construction, and GCI terrestrial tower construction (backhaul) for the Terra NW Phase II project, and many other highly technical / logistically challenging projects throughout the state of Alaska.
